Nokia Launches Nokia Lumia 920 With Windows Phone 8 OS
In the stiff competition from its rivals, Nokia has fallen far behind. Once market leader is now struggling to retain its day by day falling market share. To remain in main stream and to give fight to iPhone and Android smartphones, Nokia is offering some exceptional product series to the targeted market.

In its Lumia series, last week Nokia has launched yet another phone called Nokia lumia 920 in New York. Let us see what the company is offering us by this device.

Display and Design

As far as design is concern the device is at par with its predecessor Lumia 800 and Lumia 900. The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ touchscreen display with 1280 x 768 resolutions. It features a Corning Gorilla Glass, Super sensitive touch and an Aspect ratio of 15:9.

Operating System and Processor

One of the important features is that it works on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system. This is an exceptional feature of Nokia Lumia 920. The device is powered by highly integrated 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor which delivers dynamic, immersive experiences and powerful, battery-friendly performance that can put new possibilities in our hands.

Memory

Lumia 920 has a 32GB of memory with 7GB in SkyDrive and 1GB RAM. However, it has no card slot for memory extension.

Camera

The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 8.7-megapixel camera with the PureView Technology which helps in capturing the image in best of its quality. It also has short pulse high power dual LED flash in it. The digital zoom of the camera helps in capturing the picture without losing its quality even if it is zoomed 4 times.

Network and Connectivity

The smartphone is equipped with all the networking connections like Bluetooth 3.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, Qi Wireless charging, etc with high speed of connectivity. HSPA+ helps fast connections and transferring of data. The phone can be used as a Wi-Fi Hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices.

Other Features

The other features in this smartphone are document reader, video or photo editor, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, MP3 and MP4 players, loudspeaker and Dolby headphone enhancement.

Battery

The 2000mAh Li-Ion battery is used in the phone which provides an ample stand-by time to the phone and is expected to last for many days.

Available Colors

The Nokia Lumia 920 will be available in black, grey, red, yellow and white color. By looking at these colors, we can say that all the ages are targeted by Nokia as red and yellow colored phones are mostly liked by young people.

Nokia has not given any official confirmation about its pricing and date of availability.
