What Can You Do With Itunes?

What Can You Do With Itunes?
Although a lot of people have been using iTunes, most have not really used it to the maximum. Free iTunes tips are available online, so it is surprising many people fail to use the media program. Apple is constantly updating iTunes, so the techies out there should stay tuned. Most consumers are not technology buffs so they miss out on upgrades. Aside from being updated, these tips should make your iTunes experience more fun.

Organize Files

Organizing files is a no-brainer. If you want to put related files in one folder, go to Library and select Organize Files. You can choose to copy files into the iTunes Media by selecting iTunes preferences and pressing the Advanced tab. There is an option to copy files to iTunes Media folder when you add them to the library. This is the ideal way to secure files if you want to back up files. Few people do file backups. You can update iTunes Library by going to File, then Library. Then select to back up to disk. Backups can be done on all playlists and on the whole iTunes library.

There are different ways to organize files. Organizing music files largely depends on the preference of the user. Some people put songs of the same genre in one folder. Others want songs of an artist in a folder. There are also music enthusiasts who select their favorite songs from different artists and genres in a folder. Organizing songs in folders allow users to have customized playlists. If you want to play Justin Bieber songs, you can put all these songs in a folder and play only these songs later. It is also easy to burn songs on CDs if they are organized well.

Compile Songs on CDs

If you want to make a playlist, all you need to do is create a folder and put music files into the folder. Then you can organize these music titles, after which you can just store them, play them sometime later, or burn them on a CD. People burn their favorite songs on CDs, which they can play inside their cars or at home on their stereos. They can choose the normal Audio CD format or MP3 format—if they have a lot of songs to burn.

If you don’t find your station, look it up on the internet. Once you have gone to the website of the radio station, go to your iTunes’ Advanced menu and hit Open Stream. Then key in the URL. From then onwards, you can listen to your favorite radio station.
